Where I find you

The girl, watercolour and ink

I began to see clearly

the small things around me

The spider weaving it’s web

The shades of a sunset

The raindrops gathered on the tips of leaves

I began to tune into life

The wind through the trees

The sound of the birds

I began to feel

The sun on my face

The ache in my chest

I look for signs

You were once here

You felt the grass

You watched the clouds

You witnessed the night sky filled with stars

In my quiet moments

I find you alive in everything
