In 2025 I took a step back from pushing sales and advertising and focused on creating for my own happiness. I made things colourful and simple, more like play instead of production. As 2025 comes to a close I find myself thinking of what direction I wish to take with my art.

When I started selling online I was a novice maker. I started resin and online sales in 2018.

Online sales take a lot of intense pushing and posting, and I struggle with that. I much prefer the making to the selling.

Some of my first work for online sales 👇🏻

Resin gave me a way to combine all the things I love, nature, my garden, drying flowers and making jewelry. A couple of years into resin I got a bit bored with where I was and decided it was time to work at improving, I took a few months off for learning and practicing and began making more detailed work, creating little worlds in my jewelry. My aim was tiny forests and gardens. I’m hoping to get back to making jewelry again next year, I love foraging and drying plants, jewelry making is hands on, and being hands on with plants also helps me with being more detailed in my artwork, come spring I’ll start foraging and drying again.

I love working on improving what I do, my hope in 2026 is to focus on improving my art, take a few risks and grow in my painting skills. I don’t really do New Year resolutions, I try to set my mind on areas I could use growth in, both personal growth and growth in my artistic abilities. I find if I put the effort in I grow. I’m hoping 2026 brings growth in my life and in my art.
